Hello! My name is Kaymarie Henley-Nutt and I am licensed with the state of Texas as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and Licensed Behavior Analyst (LBA). I graduated from Tarleton State University with a Master's in Counseling Psychology. I continued my education and studied Behavior Analysis through Florida Institute of Technology.
I am a teletherapy provider for Texas residents. I enjoy online therapy because it provides many benefits to clients. It is convenient, effective, and treatment has become more accessible to those who aren't able to come into a therapy office due to work schedules, school schedules, distance, etc.
For my clients who are Fort Worth area residents, along with teletherapy, I offer therapy sessions in office, in home, and in the community. I use the Walk and Talk Therapy model with Fort Worth residents. I enjoy this model because it can have a dual effect on increasing mental and physical well-being.
I specialize in working with children, teens, and adults who are having difficulty with relationships, emotional struggles, daily stressors, and wanting to learn social-emotional and behavioral skills. I also work with couples and families who want to work on having healthy relationships and better communication skills. Throughout the year, I offer different workshops, therapeutic groups, and support groups.
I believe in tailoring counseling to meet the client's needs. I use evidence-based models and individualizes treatment for each client and their circumstances. I teach mindfulness, behavior skills, emotional regulation, thought processing, self-management, conflict resolution, and other life skills.
It is an honor to work with others who want to learn new skills, work through difficult experiences, and talk with me about the good and bad things in their lives!
